Just A Thought

My parents are farmers. Unschooled farmers. But sure they are educated enough in their fields, farming and gardening. I remember there were times when the crops were bad. Could be due to unfavorable weathers or pests attack.

When those instances happened, I remember hearing them speaking of frustrations and dissatisfaction over the events. Though these situations occurred many times, never did I see any harsh measurements to counter the problems, like destroying the lands or the whole crops or blaming each other. They are professional in handling the farming problems and drawbacks.

With technological advances and helps from various agriculture agencies, they slowly improved their farming techniques.

They are still farming now, but in a much smaller scale, much like an addiction to them. They often complained of certain pains if they are told to stay indoor.

I am so proud of my parents. Now they are old, but my two unschooled guardian angels have taught me the basic in life :: be professional or do not hold a profession ::

Live life by the head with guidance from the heart.... tackling things in life need not be complicated as long as there is compassion in everything we do.

Love you mamak and bapak!
