In less than 48 hours i'll be in my hometown...yeay!! However, the weather is worrying me....it's always raining. Nobody is fond of a delayed flight home....hope everything will be OK though.
Today, in class, I spent half the day finishing ( and furnishing) my last assignment for the semester...it's for Resource Management.....application of multimedia knowledge in the teaching & learning process. The end product wasn't my best. I know I can do better, but procrastination is always undertaking the better of me....thus, last minute task....
Spent the next few hours in the afternoon sleeping, leaving the laptop switched on......what a waste of energy! Woke up and tried to work my a** out packing things. My housemate (Ms Lemba Jugah) and I is moving to a new "settlement".....*sigh* The new "settlement" is cheaper, but with a very high degree of "crowdedness"....And we are to pay up the rental even when we are not there, because our stuff is there....
Then, spent the next few hours in the early evening expecting a friend to come and help us move the things to the new house. After a few hours of eargerness, Mr Zuhari and Mr Junis came to our rescue. So grateful for having such thoughtful souls around. It was raining, but the two of them did not mind the sprinkle. They had to return for the second trip to fecth our things. It's only me and my housemate, but looking at the stuff we packed, it's unbelieveable!! I came to the institute with only one huge luggage bag. Now, after only 5 months here, it looks like I've been living here five years instead!
At around 10pm, we finished moving & putting the stuff in the new 'kampong'. Then, we went for a dinner (or supper, to be more accurate) at NR Cafe.....another friend, Ms Normawati joined in the crowd, so the short journey to the food outlet became even shorter due to conversation fast-forwarded in the car, as they say, the more the merrier...
The dinner/supper was superb, not so much because of the food, but for being able to share and spend time with wonderful friends like them...
Arrived home at around 12.30am.....felt weird looking at the empty spaces in a house I called home for the past 5 months....
